What is HEUF?
The Household Energy Upgrades Fund (HEUF) is a dedicated $1 billion fund from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), designed to help homeowners accelerate their transition to cheaper, cleaner energy.

Eligibility criteria for HEUF Green Loans
To be eligible for our HEUF Green Loans, customers must:
- Be over 18 years old
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Have a valid driver's license, Medicare Card, or Australian Passport
- Own (or be purchasing) their own home where the property value does not exceed $2.5 million
- Have a clear credit file
- Be employed >25 hours a week, a self-funded retiree, or receiving a government pension
In some cases we may require the customer's bank statements and a recent electricity bill.

For installers
What certifications do I need as a vendor/installer for my customer to be eligible for the HEUF Green Loans?
Firstly, you need to be a Plenti accredited installer and have the appropriate certifications for relevant installations:
- Battery, Solar, Inverter and EV Charger installations need to be done by a New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) accredited company and by a Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) certified installer.
- Wall, Floor and Ceiling Insulation installations need to be done by an Energy Efficiency Council (EEC) certified installer.
- Air Conditioning installations need to be done by an Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) refrigerant handling licenced installer.
Additional state-based licensing may be required for various tradespersons, depending on the state and the specific home assets installed.
